Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior AI/ML Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience to support model development, data analysis, and AI-driven feature implementation. You will work with senior engineers and data scientists to build and maintain ML pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and training ML models for classification, regression, NLP, or recommendation tasks.
• Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Implement and test ML pipelines using Python and related libraries.
• Deploy ML models using basic APIs or cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Monitor model performance and help in debugging model issues.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate models into production applications.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Knowledge of core ML algorithms (Regression, SVM, Random Forest, Clustering, etc.).
• Experience with ML libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Understanding of SQL and basic data querying.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and Git.

Good to Have

• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or LLM-based projects.
• Basic knowledge of MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, Airflow).
• Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib/Seaborn/Power BI.
• Knowledge of cloud basics (EC2, S3, Vertex AI, Azure ML).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
