Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to ensure that products meet user requirements and quality standards.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure timely bug resolution.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular quality reports.
• Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives (if using Agile/Scrum).
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

🧩 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 years of experience in software testing (manual or automation).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience with test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as:
  • JIRA, TestLink, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries) and API testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
